One of the best decisions we made for our wedding in Portugal was booking the Swithas band – They were actually a recommendation from a local publican (this speaks for itself) we’d received early on, and it turned out to be one of the best pieces of advice we got.

The music was brilliant and suited every age group, which meant the dance floor was never empty. They created such a fun, upbeat atmosphere and really knew how to keep the energy going from start to finish.

Silvio, the manager and singer, was a pleasure to deal with throughout the planning. He’s incredibly kind, responsive, and made everything feel easy and relaxed, which is exactly what you want when organising a wedding abroad. His passion for what he does shines through in every performance

One thing we really appreciated was that they even filmed some of our guests dancing and enjoying the night, something we obviously wouldn’t or didn’t have time to do ourselves in the moment. It was such a thoughtful extra touch, and we were so grateful for it afterwards.

Their talent, versatility and ability to read the room were unmatched. Guests were raving about them! We honestly couldn’t recommend them more for any wedding in Europe.

We first saw the Swithas at a local festival in the Algarve and people had a wonderful dancing night with them. After that we started following them in all the places they were playing and when my son told us he wanted to get married in the Algarve, there was no other option : the Switha’s would be the best choice ! We first met Silvio and we were amazed with his simplicity and sympathy.
They were so professional and gave us all the help we needed, before the wedding and during the wedding ceremony and party. They took care of everything and we had a wonderful wedding night.

Hiring Sivio and the Switha’s Band team was the best choice for our son’s wedding in the Algarve. They were very kind, helpful and totally professional from the beginning to the end of the wedding party.
The playlist was amazing and people danced all night long. They took care of every detail and managed all the music part during the wedding ceremony, the welcome drinks and the dinner . Everything was perfect, don’t hesitate They are really the best. Thank you Sivio and the boys.

Couldn’t recommend Silvio enough to anyone getting married in Portugal. Him and his crew were absolutely unbelievable. From cocktail reception, band and DJ he covered everything. Our guests were raving about how good they were.

They had everyone dancing all night, played any songs requested, it was just like a wedding in Ireland.

One of the best we’ve ever seen.
